Today, a press release is not only intended for traditional broadcast media but they are also designed to populate the internet with keyword-optimized content – content you not only control but also content that points directly back to your website and/or business. This chapter brings public relations and the process of writing press releases into our modern online economy. It offers tips on how to optimize the content and also how to increase the odds that the traditional broadcast media will engage with the content and feature it on their own.
