7. Target Market

Your target market is essentially a description of the types of people your product or service is designed for. On the internet, finding communities where your target market spends time is quite easy. It’s certainly much easier than it is offline. This chapter offers suggestions on where to find your target market. It encourages you to start a list of all the places where your prospects are spending time and to tackle each one in turn. The rest of the book talks about demonstrating your expertise in strategic places. What are these strategic places? There the places where your target market spends time. So this step lays the foundation for everything else we do in the rest of the book.
