19. Website Conversation

When someone visits your website, there is a conversation taking place. The visitor sees things (either way he/she is looking for or not) on your website and interacts by clicking links of leaving. That is an interaction. It’s a conversation. And you can control that. Think about this conversation when designing your website. What do they see first? Second? Third? Map out your website so that conversation gets the visitor more and more engaged, qualifying them along the way. This chapter works through the process and offers a few examples as well.
